The Brobe Partners with Tigerlily Foundation

Posted on 25 January 2016

The Brobe is so excited to announce a new partnership with the Tigerlily Foundation! We will be happily donating a portion of sales from the Recovery Brobe to the organization’s “Funds for Families” or “Send Me on a Vacation” efforts.

The Tigerlily Foundation was founded by Maimah Karmo after she was diagnosed withTigerlily Foundation partners with The Brobe breast cancer at age 32. Committed to educating young women about the disease and changing its young adult landscape, the Foundation supports women, ages 15-40, before, during and after breast cancer through education, empowerment and advocacy. The organization also seeks to impact the quality of care and lifestyle for young women affected by the disease.

Both The Brobe and Tigerliy Foundation share the mission to empower breast cancer fighters – The Brobe by giving them the strength to live beautifully and Tigerlily Foundation by helping women become their own best advocate.

The Funds for Families program offers financial assistance to the patient’s families, based on needs.

The Send Me on a Vacation program sends women on Empowerment Vacations, Freestyle Vacations and Staycations. The Empowerment and Freestyle vacations are designed to enrich the mind, body and soul while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Staycations are 3-day getaways that provide a peace of mind experience close to home for Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer recipients.

Young women currently in treatment for breast cancer, diagnosed under the age of 40, are eligible for both programs. To apply, visit tigerlilyfoundation.org.

“We’re so happy to partner with the Tigerlily Foundation,” says Allison Schickel, CEO. “Now, anybody who purchases a Recovery Brobe is also supporting another woman in her breast cancer journey as well.”
