How Breast Reconstruction Works with a Tissue Expander
After a mastectomy, many women opt to undergo reconstructive surgery to restore the breast to a normal shape, symmetry, and size. Generally speaking, there are two categories of reconstruction: flap reconstruction or implant-based reconstruction.
